Nunes has 53% and Boulos 39% in the 2nd round in SP, says Real Time Big Data Survey

The first Real Time Big Data poll of the second round of the São Paulo elections shows Mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB) with 53% of voting intentions. MP Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) presents himself with 39%, a difference of 14 percentage points between the two candidates. In the poll published on Monday the 14th, another 3% say they will vote blank or invalid, and 5% do not know what they will vote for or did not answer.

The research entered the field on 11 and 12 October and carried out 1,500 interviews. The margin of error is plus or minus three percentage points and the confidence level is 95%. The poll is registered at the Electoral Tribunal under number SP-00357/2024.

Considering the valid votes, excluding blank and invalid ballots, Nunes has 58% and Boulos 42% – a difference of 16 percentage points between the candidates for mayor. Valid votes are those used by the electoral tribunal to determine who will be elected.

Votes inherited from the 1st round

According to the poll, the majority (69%) of the votes obtained by Pablo Marçal (PRTB) in the first round went to Nunes. Boulos inherits 6% of Marçal’s electorate. Another 25% of those who voted for the PRTB candidate were undecided or declared they had voted blank or blank, for a total of 7.04%.

For Tabata Amaral (PSB) voters, the scenario is reversed. Boulos receives 62% of the federal deputy vote. Nunes inherits 27% of the vote in Tabata. Another 11% of the candidate’s voters are undecided or vote blank or void. Tabata declared support for Boulos.

Although Datena (PSDB) declared support for Guilherme Boulos, the PSOL candidate inherits 33% of the TV presenter’s votes. Nunes, on the other hand, has a 58% migration of journalists’ voters. Another 9% of those who voted for the Tucano candidate are undecided or cast a blank or blank ballot.

Marina Helena (Novo) is the one who transfers the most votes to Nunes, 84%. Marina declared support for the mayor. Boulos receives 3% of voters. Another 13% of those who voted for Marina remain undecided on the ballot or vote blank or nothing.
