The former host also gave details about her character in the production.
“In the story I am a character who is part of an ancient tribe. Clan das Nuvens is inspired by the people who lived in Peru, there were the whites (blondes and reds). In the script there is also the Nine Moons tribe. We fell in love with a native of this tribe. And my character will have a daughter. It will be important for these clans, who used to fight. There is teenage love, many scenes in nature … references, dealing with the deforestation of the Amazon, underline that this is a fiction. They will be serious topics dealt with in a playful way, “he explained.
Despite many elements of fantasy, “Tarã” will also deal with fires, forest devastation and invasion of indigenous lands.
The screenplay is by Anna Lee (“Iron Island”) and the direction of the eight episodes will be shared by two horror specialists, Marco Dutra and Juliana Rojas (partner of “Work Cansa” and “As Boas Maneiras”).
After ten days of recording in Acre, Xuxa will begin this week with studio and farm scenes in São Paulo.
In addition to “Tarã”, he has many other projects agreed upon with streaming platforms, including the fictional series that Globoplay develops about his life.
