One of the things Marvel loves to keep is its secrets, but they have a habit of leaking and Loki actor Owen Wilson seems to be one factor behind that. In a recent interview, he revealed that he was reprimanded by Marvel Studios for releasing spoilers for the series too soon.
During an appearance on ComicBook.com’s Phase Zero podcast, Owen Wilson talked about his appearance on “Loki” as Agent Mobius M. Mobius of the Temporal Variance Authority. When Wilson was asked if we will see Mobius’ dream of owning a jet ski come true in Season 2, he chose to give a very vague answer.
“Well, I think, you know, we’ll see what happens with that,” said Wilson, who further completed his speech as if apologizing for the vague response: “I immediately get a little embarrassed because I’m a little tense,” he commented referring to. at Marvel Studios.
Then, one of the presenters asked him if he had ever been scolded by Marvel Studios for revealing spoilers. “Yes. Yes, several times,” he revealed him.
The first season of “Loki” arrived on Disney + in 2021 and explored entered the multiverse, exploring alternate realities to the timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, through a variant of Loki, experienced by Tom Hiddleston. This isn’t the first time Wilson has talked about Marvel Studios’ strict rules on spoilers. “I’ve talked about how I’ve worked on a lot of things, but the kind of secrecy that surrounds it, I didn’t understand until I saw that it’s a lot,” Wilson said. “The fan base is like that, frantic and passionate, and Marvel is so busy trying to surprise people. For example, why aren’t you sure: did this happen in episode 3 or 4 or 1 or did they already see it? And so, I tend to just back off and say very shocking things are going to happen.
Filming has already begun on the second season of “Loki” at Pinewood Studios in London. Owen Wilson will return as Mobius, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Sophia Di Mantino as Sylvie.
All six episodes of the first season of “Loki” are available on Disney +. Season 2 is scheduled to release in 2023.
