After speculation and twists, the telenovela ‘Vale Tudo’ comes to an end and reveals the mystery surrounding the death of Odete Roitman
Friday evening, 10/17, everything ended Everything is fine and, with that, one of the greatest enigmas of Brazilian television fiction: the identity of the villain’s killer Hear Roitmann. After many twists and turns, the soap opera had its conclusion.
The new version of the plot, written by Manuela Diaskept its promise and delivered a different ending to the one that marked 1988, maintaining the suspense about the crime that paralyzed the country. After intense speculation involving the five main suspects, the truth came to light, shocking the public with the revelation: Odete is not dead.
The revelation
The final scene, recorded in absolute secrecy, revealed that Marcus Aurélius was responsible for firing the second shot. However, she survived, underwent surgery and appeared very much alive in the last scene of Globo’s nine o’clock soap opera. With the help of Freitas (Luis Lobianco), fled the country. “Au revoir, Brazil, Odete Roitman always returns”, he concluded.
Who were the suspects?
Odete Roitman accumulated enemies throughout the soap opera, ensuring the list of suspects was extensive. In the final moments of the plot, the flashbacks were crucial in recomposing the puzzle, showing the motivations of each of the most mentioned names: Celina’s revenge (Malù Galli) for the death of her son Leonardo, the desperation of Heleninha (Paolla Oliveira) which led her to confess the crime in her mental confusion, the fear of Marco Aurélio (Alexander Nero) to reveal his financial deviations, Caesar’s wrath (Caua Reymond) to be used, and the hatred and ambition of Maria de Fátima (Beautiful Campos) towards his ex-mother-in-law.
