Netflix has released the first photos of “The Midnight Club”, a youth horror series developed by director Mike Flanagan, responsible for the miniseries “The Haunting of Hill House”, “The Haunting of Bly Manor” and “The Midnight Mass -Night”.
The photos show the main characters, a group of terminally ill teenagers, who meet every day at midnight to tell horror stories. In the spirit of these encounters, the group decides to make a sinister pact: the first of them to die must try to communicate with surviving friends. But as soon as death occurs, strange things begin to happen.
The plot adapts Christopher Pike’s book of the same name and the cast highlights several actors from “Midnight Mass”, such as Igby Rigney, Zach Gilford, Samantha Sloyan, Matt Biedel and Annarah Shephard, as well as Aya Furukawa (“The Nanny Club “) and the late Heather Langenkamp (the eternal Nancy from” A Nightmare on Elm Street “).
The premiere is scheduled for October 7, the month of Halloween.
