Claire Keim and Clemens Lasalles (Tomorrow Belongs to Us, Mr. Parisot) lead the investigation on TF1… Monday 3 November 2025 at 9.10pm The cast take part in a potential future collection of Channel One’s (almost) perfect murder. Together they make a mismatched but above all shocking duet!
Claire Keim and Clemens Lasalles in “The (Almost) Perfect Murder”
Lore Mondo’s (Claire Keim) specialty, one might say, is even her passion for crime. Or rather, the perfect crime. which enabled him to become a world-famous novelist, a worthy successor to Agatha Christie. In her forties, elegant and couture, perched on dizzying heels, Lori has a sharp intellect and a rather dark view of the human soul.
It develops its mystery and the killer. The complete opposite of his assistant. With his messy hair, very bad taste in t-shirts, loud laugh and tenderness for the whole world, Pica (Clemens Lasalles) queues up to please his capricious boss. But she admires him unconditionally.
This unexpected tandem, but so complementary, will challenge the first investigation. Yves Caillat, the head of an international luxury group, was found dead in the swimming pool of his luxury Corsican villa. Police concluded it was an accident. But that’s not Lor Mondo’s point.
Yves was a monster and everyone in his family wanted him dead. Breathing out material for her next novel, Laurie sets to work, clumsily aided by the stormy Pika… Will our new heroes solve the mystery of this very intriguing death?
Fantasy was not filmed in Corsica!
During their research, Lore and Pica live somewhere in Corsica, in the luxurious villa of the Cayati family. But did the teams really go from the fictional An (Almost) Perfect Murder to Beauty Island? The answer is no! As Clemens Lassalles revealed, filming was actually taking place in Grasse on the Cote d’Azur, and that lofty residence is Chateau Dieter.
Moreover, not going to Corsica didn’t appeal to Claire Keim in the first place… Many humorously tell AlloCiné:I was terribly disappointed that I didn’t get a photo there! I was looking forward to going… When I found out a month and a half ago, I thought it was impossible (laughs) for me it was a betrayal on all levels: our betrayal, the Corsicans’ betrayal, the script’s betrayal…“
“Then at some point something occurred to me and I remembered that the basis of the acting profession is “trust me in this”… by which I mean that if a character like this kills a guy, I definitely won’t kill him. There’s make-up, there’s a set, there’s light… and there, we had to tell ourselves that if we weren’t in Corsica, we’d act the same way. We are children, we play“, the actor sees in perspective.
“I had this little personal lament about Corsica because I love that island (laughs) where we won that the production wanted to cast Corsican actors! They were our friends. So there are still real bits of Corsica in the TV movie– concludes Claire Keim jokingly.
The (Almost) Perfect Kill airs on Monday 3 November 2025 on TF1 from 9.10pm. Fiction is also available on the TF1+ platform.
