‘The Umbrella Academy’: 5 doubts that season 4 can solve

Fans must finally get important answers in the upcoming season, which will mark the end of the series.

Since it debuted on Netflix, “The Umbrella Academy” has become famous for its cliffhanger epic and mind-blowing, and the third season was no exception. This Thursday (25), the streaming giant announced the renewal of the series for a fourth and final season. Unfortunately we will have to say goodbye to the group of heroes.

‘The Umbrella Academy’: 5 doubts that season 4 can solve

SPOILER FORWARD!

The finale of the third season of “The Umbrella Academy” sees the Hargreeves find themselves in a kind of car, where they have become a battery source, after entering the mirror verse of Hotel Oblivion and defeating four Guardians. Some heads are crushed (literally) before Allison presses a red button on the universe manipulation device, resetting the timeline in the process.

Following the trend that occurs every time you play with time, the Hargreeves separate when the Universe is supposedly restored. Allison seems to have a perfect life, while Luther has returned from the dead (and possibly Ben too). On the other hand, Umbrella Academy finds itself helpless for the first time in its life.

As expected, the result left many doubts. With season 4 on the way, we’ve rounded up the biggest questions that need to be answered in the past year of “The Umbrella Academy”. Watch!

Have they lost their powers forever?

One of the biggest twists in the Season 3 finale was the characters emerging from time-traveling elevators without superhuman abilities. It wasn’t very clear if Allison was also without her powers or if this was going to be something permanent, but some even seemed happy with the situation.

Is Ben alive?

In the scenes following the credits, the character is seen aboard a Japanese train. Fans noted that this version of the character didn’t have a scar, meaning he could be a Ben from another line. The big question is whether Ben has come back to life as Luther did, or whether this is a completely different individual.

So can five get old?

Due to a miscalculation while attempting to return in 2019, Five got stuck in his teenage body during the time jump. In the third season finale of “The Umbrella Academy”, he is the first to realize that everyone there is helpless. Does it affect your ability to age? Or rather, the lack of him.

What was the car of the Hotel Oblivion?

We know someone built the car, so Reginald bought the hotel. But we don’t know what he does or how he uses the particles held by the powerful children. After all, what was the machine’s original purpose?

In the comics, it was a cosmic trap that lured its victims by trapping criminals. Here it appears to be a manipulation device of the universe created by someone.

Are the timeline problems really solved?

The most obvious answer to the question is “no”. After all, they left the world ruled by their maniac alternate universe father, Reginald. So even if Kugelblitz were stopped, we’re sure the team will have to fix the world once again.

At the moment, the last season of “The Umbrella Academy” doesn’t have a preview date yet. Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, David Castañeda and Aidan Gallagher are the stars of the Netflix production.
