Young Sheldon on NRJ12: Character Gaining Significance in Season 6

Warning, this article contains spoilers!

While Season 5 of Young Sheldon is currently airing on CBS in the United States, one of the new characters who appeared during these new episodes is already convinced of the continuity in the sitcom created by Chuck Laurie.

The spinoff of the big bang theory of the cult series, Young Sheldon, as its title suggests, is dedicated to the early years of Sheldon Cooper (played by Jim Parsons in his adult version), a small wonder of science and mathematics dedicated to becoming. A brilliant scientist, in a small town in Texas, where he lives with his family and is the subject of all curiosities.

In Season 5 of the series – still unreleased in France – Mandy McAllister is introduced to the Cooper family as the new girlfriend of George (Montana Jordan), Sheldon (Ain Armitage) and Mary (Zoe Perry) big brother.

Ten years older than George, Mandy appeared in the 11th episode, where viewers learned that Cooper’s older baby had lied about his age to get to know him … and heard a few episodes, later that he was pregnant.

Submitted to the Cooper clan after that, Mendy’s character appears to be on track to stay on the sitcom, and his translator, Emily Osment (Kominsky’s method, quite clever), is now hired as a repeat actor for Season 6.

Young Sheldon has just been renewed for a seventh season by CBS, just before the end of the sixth season on the channel on May 19. In France, the 4th season of the series is currently airing on NRJ12.
