Recognized as one of Brazil’s greatest guitarists, the musician Juárez Moreira will give a presentation at Blue Note Sao Paulo next Sunday (3). Critically acclaimed abroad (as in magazines New York Times AND scoreboard), the musician will be accompanied by the bassist Kiko Mitraby the pianist Deangelo Silvaby the drummer Lincoln Cheib and will feature a special appearance by the accordionist Toninho Ferragutti.

On this tour, the musician revisits the successes of his career, reveals his influences and points to new musical paths. In his varied repertoire, Juarez presents, with the imprint of his jazz sound and Minas Gerais, arrangements of compositions by his great influencers of Brazilian music, such as Tom Jobim, Luiz Bonfá, Pixinguinha, Luiz Eçain addition to his highly successful compositions, such as Baroque Bay AND You arrived smiling.
