Knotfest Brasil has confirmed the dates of the 2nd edition of the festival this Wednesday (31/1). This year the event will be held at Allianz Parque stadium, in Sao Paulo, with two new performances from the band Slipknot.
The festival is scheduled for October 19 and 20 and promises to celebrate Slipknot’s 25th anniversary during the two-day event. Last year the band announced a special tour to celebrate the debut of their first album, released in 1999, considered by critics to be fundamental to Modern Metal.
“In 2022 we held the debut of Knotfest in Brazil with sold out tickets, on that occasion 45,000 people attended the event. Being able to continue this partnership, which has just begun, with an edition that celebrates 25 years of Slipknot, makes us even more excited about what we will do in 2024. As well as some new features, such as the change of location [local do show]we will have more surprises this year,” commented Pepeu Correa, CEO of production company 30e.
Headlining the festival, Slipknot also promise a varied repertoire, bringing different shows for each date. On the first day the band completes its program with a setlist commemorating 25 years of history and the following day it will play its debut album in full. Guest bands have yet to be announced.
Ticket presales for Knotfest Brasil start on February 1st, while general sales start on February 2nd, directly on the official Eventim website.
VIP packages offer additional benefits to customers, such as access to an exclusive area with an open bar (water, beer and soft drinks), exclusive queues at merchandise outlets, special items to bring as souvenirs, as well as early entry with Priority access to the Knotfest Museum, where an epic Slipknot collection will be on display.
