Madonna announced on Tuesday (02/06) on its official Twitter profile the inclusion of one last show in its extensive programme The celebration tour. The show is scheduled for April 9th in Miami (USA). Currently only members of the official fan club can purchase tickets. From this Friday 9 February sales will be open to the general public.
The celebration tour it is Madonna’s twelfth — and biggest — tour, in more than 40 years on the road, and it has interesting numbers: it will touch 15 countries, it has a set list of more than 30 hits, it has more than 200 professionals traveling together in its production team, 25 of which dedicated exclusively to the care of the 17 looks worn by the singer, 45 wardrobe trunks, 24 artists alongside Madonna, on the stage which is the largest to date, and 3 physiotherapists, as well as 3 mobile gyms and 8 air humidifiers in your dressing room.
The mega tour has touched several cities in Europe, with 27 shows, and is now in its second phase, in North America. In total there will be 80 shows. The first took place on October 14 last year, in London (UK), and the latest is expected to take place on April 26, in Mexico City (MEX).
