Ivete Sangalo was discharged and left hospital this Saturday morning (24 hours a day) after being admitted for pneumonia. The 51-year-old singer revealed on social media that she is now at home after being released from hospital. The artist’s consultant had said she might be discharged soon.
Celebration on social media
In a video posted on her Instagram, Ivete celebrated being cured of the disease. “My loves, already at home! Thank you for so many messages of love and affection. Your prayers have arrived and have strengthened me. Thank you!”, she writes.
Several artists celebrated the singer’s resignation. “Thank God. Now it’s time for dengo, rest and good food,” wrote actress Fabiana Karla. “Our world is more colorful now,” added actor Julio Rocha. “Amen”, celebrated the actress Juliana Paiva and the presenter Astrid Fontenelle.
Hospitalization after the Salvador Carnival
Ivete was hospitalized with pneumonia after performing a marathon show at the Salvador Carnival. Despite the problem, she reassured her fans and said that she ended up getting sick like many attendees at the post-holiday party.
