Wolfgang Van Halen reveals how he pays tribute to his father in all his shows

Eddie Van Halen’s son is the frontman of the band Mammoth WVH

Wolfgang Van Halen never fails to pay tribute to his father on stage. He explained in an interview with People that, at the end of all his band’s performances, Mammoth WVHhe points to the sky as a greeting to Eddie Van Halen.

“If I didn’t do it or at least didn’t think about it throughout the process, I would be doing my existence a disservice,” said the artist, highlighting that he owes his interest in music to his father.

“So I think it’s really important to establish that to thank my dad every night whenever I’m on stage. Just to thank my dad and know that he’s always with me every night.”

Eddie passed away in 2020, aged 65, after a battle with throat cancer. With the death of the guitarist, the Van Halen officially ended the band.
