A Universal musicOf Island recordsmade the new available lyrical video official to success Rehabilitation by the late Amy Winehouse (1983-2011), award-winning single Ivor Novello and now, the latest in a series of clips celebrating the genius of the British artist.
Using newly discovered footage from the original footage, Rehabilitation was directed by Phil Griffinwho also directed the video Back to black. The scenes were filmed in 33 Portland Placein the center of London.
Rehabilitation it was the lead single from his second album Amythe masterpiece Back to blackand was crowned as Song of the year AND Record of the yeartwo of the most prestigious awards in Grammy Awards 2008, in Los Angeles (UNITED STATES OF AMERICA).
The video will be released in English, French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. It comes on the heels of the release and huge success of the acclaimed film Back to blackdirected by Sam Taylor Johnson.
The official soundtrack album, Back to Black: Songs from the Original Movie contains original recordings from Amy’s influential debut, Frankand the masterpiece Back to blackand also includes a new track, Song for Amy sung by Nick Grotta.
Songs by artists who have been a source of inspiration Amy — The Shangri-Las, Billie Holiday, Minnie Riperton, Dinah Washington AND Sarah Vaughan -, whose voices appear at important moments in the film, are also included in the official soundtrack album.
