Bruna Marquezine will debut as a director and producer in “Amor da Minha Vida”, a new Disney+ streaming series that will feature names such as Sérgio Malheiros, Bruno Montaleone, Sophia Abrahão, Malu Rodrigues, among others.
At an event held on Tuesday (4/6), Marquezine did not hide his excitement at being able to contribute to the project beyond acting: “It was very curious for me, because my old work model limited what I would do on set. For me it was fundamental to accept to get involved in this way,” he said in an interview with journalists.
The new director also stated that it will only be the beginning of her work behind the camera: “I love acting, I love being on set. When I’m on set, that’s where I feel like I belong. That’s what I love.” to do, I was born to do. “I don’t want to sound arrogant, but that’s where I feel very happy and producing was a lot of fun, because it allowed me to be more involved in the process,” she celebrated.
Finally, Marquezine reiterated that he should consider new projects as a director in the future: “In the whole process, not just in the action. Everything that implies the final result. It was very enjoyable and the co-direction was delightful, I really want to do more in this regard,” he added.

Bruna Marquezine’s direction and production are just one of the many new features of Disney+, which will merge with the Star+ platform from June 26th. The platform promises some launches later this year.
