Unpublished book by Rita Lee had a posthumous release scheduled by the singer

A few days after the release of “Volare”, a cover left by Rita Leea new posthumous work by the singer is announced – a book called The Myth of the Myth: from fan to crazy, everyone has a little bit. The material, a “fiction with touches of reality”, was written by the artist with a request, that it only be published after her death, in May 2023.

Written in 2005, it is a “fiction with touches of reality”, in which the protagonist is herself, Rita Lee. Archived for more than a decade, the material was finalized in 2019 and edited with the request that it be released posthumously.

According to the announcement of Globo Books, the plot has an air of mystery and talks about a doctor who only works after sunset in a mansion in the center of São Paulo. However, the space is closed and you can only enter it alone.

Already on pre-sale, the book has a preface signed by the specialist in Rita Lee, the singer’s friend and journalist Guilherme Samora – known to fans as the Phantom, the ghost responsible for reviewing their memories, Rita Lee: An Autobiography (2016) and Rita Lee: Another Autobiography (2023).
