Michael J. Fox Performs “Fix You” With Coldplay At Glastonbury Festival


The actor, known for his role in the “Back to the Future” films, showed off his guitar skills alongside Chris Martin

OR Coldplay invited Michael J. Fox playing guitar during Fix youone of the songs played by the group in Glastonbury Festival 2024in England.

In one of the moments in which the actor got emotional, Chris Martin said “Go, Johnny, go, go, go!”, in reference to the iconic scene from the film Back to the Future in which Marty McFly performs the song Johnny B Goode, by Chuck Berry.

Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease nearly 30 years ago. He has had other health issues recently, such as surgery to remove a tumor in 2018, the same year he broke his arm due to mobility difficulties in a home accident.

In 2016, the actor had already attended a Coldplay concert in New York City. On that occasion he played Johnny B. Goode, which was celebrated by the singer, who often emphasizes to the members of the group the importance of his role in the film.
