A few minutes after the end of the presentation at Rock in Rio, Ryan SP posted a video on his Instagram showing his arrival at the Neo Química Arena, where he attended the match between Corinthians and Atlético-GO, scheduled for 4 p.m. The singer also posted a photo with his 9-month-old daughter Zoe in his arms, with the caption: “Showing the helmet to my little princess.”
Previous justification
On Friday (9/20), Ryan shared a video on social media of himself receiving medical attention, saying he had a viral flu. “I ended up getting a really bad viral flu! It’s like a brick wall fell on me. I’m on meds. I’m already at zero,” he said at the time, without mentioning his participation in Rock in Rio, which until then remained confirmed. He has since removed the video from Stories.
Neither Ryan SP’s advisor nor the Rock in Rio team have commented on the artist’s absence from the festival so far.
The trap performance was marred by audio issues, which delayed its start. It is not known whether the difficulties were related to Ryan’s absence, due to a change in the show’s schedule.
