Scheduled for September next year, the second edition of the Sao Paulo event will have an attraction that has mobilized fans at Rock in Rio 2024
The American singer Katy Perry is the first confirmed attraction for the The city 2025. The second edition of the festival is scheduled for September 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14, 2025, at the Autódromo de Interlagos, in Sao Paulo. Katy will headline the Skyline stage on September 14; the last time the singer performed in the city was in 2018.
The singer’s name had already been speculated after Katy announced, on Monday the 11th, that she would lead her new tour The tour of life in Latin America in the same month as the festival. Since the cities announced were Santiago, Chile, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, fans quickly deduced that she would also be in The Town.
The Skyline will remain in the same location, but The One will be moved to another side of the Autódromo de Interlagos, opposite where The Town Club Lounge was located in the last edition. For 2025, the organizers’ idea is for The Town to repeat the experience of Rock in Rio 2024, which further separated the two main phases of the festival, ensuring very fluid circulation.
