The funeral of Liam Payne will take place this Wednesday 20th, in a private ceremony attended by family and friends, including members of One Directon, the group that revealed the singer. Payne died last month after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The ceremony takes place in Amersham, on the outskirts of London. Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, former One Direction bandmates, have already arrived on site, as has Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy.
The ceremony will be reserved only for family and closest friends. “His family has made a huge effort to organize the funeral and give him the send-off he deserves,” a source told AFP.
This will be the first time the group members will reunite in 9 years, even in such a sad way. The group’s last show with the full lineup was in October 2015.
The singer’s friend denies accusations of involvement in the star’s death
Rogelo “Roger” Noves, a friend of Liam Payne who was with the singer minutes before his death in Buenos Aires, Argentina, has been charged in the former One Direction member’s death.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, he talked about what happened. “I am heartbroken by this tragedy and miss my friend every day,” she said. He was accused of abandoning his dying friend and of being an accomplice in supplying drugs to the singer.
