One Ok Rock: concert location in Brazil is changed after tickets sell out quickly

Presentation of the Japanese group formed by Taka (voice), Toru (guitar), Tomoya (drums) and Ryota (bass) takes place 8 years after the last visit to the country

After eight years, the One Ok Rock returns to Brazil amid a new tour of Latin America. The presentation on national territory, in the city of São Paulo, had its location changed to receive a larger audience, as the tickets initially offered were sold out in a matter of a few hours.

Initially scheduled at Audiothe performance will now be at Unimed Spacewith more than double the capacity. The date is April 13th, a Sunday.

Thus, in addition to offering more tickets, two new sectors were opened. At Audio, it was just a track and a box. Now, there will be a premium runway, box, runway (new sector) and mezzanine (new sector).

Tickets purchased for Audio continue to be valid for Espaço Unimed. Track tickets purchased for Audio will be valid as a premium track at Espaço Unimed. Cabin tickets remain valid as cabins.

The agenda will begin on the 4th of the same month, with a performance at the Tecate Pa’l Norte festival, in Monterrey, Mexico. Mexico City (05/04), Santiago (08/04), Buenos Aires (10/04) and Lima (16/04) are also part of the itinerary.

Founded in Tokyo in 2005, One Ok Rock is made up of Taka (vocals), Toru (guitar), Tomoya (battery) and Ryota (low). With an alternative sound, inclined towards post-hardcore and emo, the quartet has toured under different names, ranging from Smashing Pumpkins the Ed Sheeran — with whom they co-wrote “Renegades”film soundtrack Samurai X – The End (2021).

Produced by Rob Cavallo (Green Day, My Chemical Romance), the band’s most recent album, Luxury Diseasedebuted at #1 in Japan, being the fourth consecutive one to top the charts in the country, after 35xxxv (2015), AMBITIONS (2017) and EYE OF THE STORM (2019). The new work includes the singles “Save Yourself”, “Let Me Let You Go” and “Vandalize”the latter used as the game’s ending theme Sonic Frontiers from the SEGA.
