L7ndoes not clarify the relationship with Filipe Ret

The rappers are longtime friends and partners, but they don’t follow each other on Instagram

L7nnon, one of the most influential names in Brazilian rap at age 30, recently took to his Instagram to address a curiosity that often draws fans’ attention: his relationship with Filipe Ret, 39.

Despite being friends and musical partners, the two artists don’t follow each other on social media, which led L7nnon to share his take on how friendships go beyond digital interactions.

In a series of Stories published last Monday (13th), L7nnon demystified the idea that following someone on Instagram is synonymous with closeness or affinity. “Someone comes and tells me:

‘VHas so-and-so stopped following you?’. NO! Because I don’t see who follows me and who doesn’t… Not that following means much here“, he explained. He cited Filipe Ret as an example, underlining that, even if they do not exchange follow-ups, the two maintain a relationship of mutual respect and admiration.

“For example Ret. I don’t think he follows anyone, and I don’t follow him either, but we get along very well, we exchange ideas, I’m a fan of his, and he gets involved with me too. It’s not a following that will define whether we are friends or not”, added L7nnon, reiterating that true friendship is based on real exchanges and not on the superficial dynamics of social networks.
