Ava Rocha Promises a special presentation in Salvador. At a free show scheduled for May 24th at Cineteatro July 2the singer, songwriter and multidisciplinary artist brings to the city the show Nektarbased on the acclaimed fourth authorial album released in 2023 by YBMUSIC. The show also marks the passage of the project through the Bahian capital within the tour contemplated by the “Funarte Circuit of Music Pixinguinha 2023”.

The artist will not be alone. She shares the night with a prominent name from the local scene: the musician, composer, music producer and soteropolitan King Lacosteresponsible for the opening show. Exploring the fusion between mass culture, popular, scholar and experimental, Lacoste mix sound mix of pop to trap, and has already launched mixtapes as Trapcal (2018), Tutorial on how to be loved (2021) and Clandestine parties (2022). With festivals in Mexico and more than 20 directed music videos, it is one of the most restless names of the new urban music scene of Bahia.
Produced by JONAS SÁ and Thiago Nassif, Nektar It moves between concrete and surreal, between electronic and organic, connecting influences of Brazilian, Latin American and universal music. Passionate, sexy, magical and deep, the album is described as a sweet and spicy drink that brings a sound manifest for the love, desire and sensitive expansion and political of being.
In Salvador, Ava About on the stage accompanied by your band: Charles Tixier (battery), Chicão Morinorfano (keyboard), Gabriel Bubu (low), Vini Furquim (keyboard) and Yandara Pimentel (percussion).
In addition to the show, the artist will also lead two free workshops the day before, May 23, aimed at artists, students and interested audiences. The activities are part of the project and involve creative exchanges and reflections on art, voice and musical experimentation. There will be 20 vacancies per class and registration information will be available soon.
