Oscar Mendoza, a resident of North Carolina, has won more than $1.1 million by hitting the lottery twice in two months, UPI reported.

Mendoza said he first won in late spring, when a winning ticket brought him $100,000.
Two months later, his luck struck again. He bought a $10 ticket and won a $1 million prize.
Another repeat winner
It was previously reported that a resident of Ohio, who wished to remain anonymous, won the lottery twice in a row. That winner said he planned to spend the money on a vacation and a new car.
