Ukrainian actor Ostap Stupka has celebrated his 59th birthday as his partner, theater scholar Margarita Tkach, publicly marked the occasion by sharing rare personal photographs on social media.
Tkach, who is 35 years younger than the performer, posted joint photos on Instagram to mark the milestone. In a caption accompanying one image, she thanked Stupka for being born. Followers responded in the comment section with birthday congratulations and praise for the couple.

The actor also received a public message from his daughter, Ustyna Stupka, who shared a tribute wishing her father many happy years of life and expressing her love for him.
Stupka himself broke a long period of public silence on his birthday to share a statement online. He noted that Hollywood actors Keanu Reeves and Salma Hayek, as well as former heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis, were also born on September 2. Expressing gratitude to everyone supporting him, Stupka concluded his message with words of praise for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and his home country.

Prominent Acting Career and Family Life
Stupka is one of Ukraine's best known stage and screen actors, designated as a People's Artist of Ukraine. He is the son of the late legendary actor Bohdan Stupka, who remains one of the most celebrated figures in Ukrainian cultural history. Throughout his career, Ostap Stupka has performed extensively with the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater in Kyiv, alongside regular appearances in domestic films and television broadcasts.
The romantic relationship between Stupka and Tkach has drawn frequent media interest in Ukraine, primarily due to their 35-year age gap. Tkach previously revealed in a media interview that her mother was initially skeptical of the romance, sending her messages stating that she had chosen the wrong partner.

Tkach has also addressed how she maintains connections within the extended family, discussing in prior interviews whether she stays in touch with Stupka's adult children as the pair continue their public relationship.
