Penelope Cruz Debuts Short Blonde Hair for V Magazine

Penelope Cruz has unveiled a dramatic makeover featuring short blonde hair in a new photoshoot published on the website of fashion outlet V Magazine.

The 52-year-old Spanish star appeared with cropped blonde locks and an outfit featuring a plunging neckline, photographed by Spanish fashion photographer and director Alvaro Beamud Cortes.

For the session, Cruz was dressed in a black Chanel tweed suit consisting of a jacket and skirt, alongside a black-and-white corset bearing the luxury fashion house's logo.

Cortes is an established Spanish fashion photographer and director who has created editorial campaigns for major international style publications and European luxury brands.

V Magazine is an American fashion quarterly founded in 1999, known for its focus on contemporary culture, avant-garde style, and large-format celebrity photography.

Chanel is widely recognized for its signature tweed tailoring and monochrome aesthetic, styles that have defined the Parisian couture house since its founding by Coco Chanel. Cruz has served as a global brand ambassador for the French luxury company for several years, regularly wearing its designs at film festivals and red-carpet premieres.

Collaboration with Alvaro Lafuente Calvo

Spanish musician, singer and actor Alvaro Lafuente Calvo, better known by his stage name Guitarricadelafuente, also posed alongside Cruz for the publication.

The two Spanish performers previously co-starred in the feature film Black Ball. The movie held its world premiere in May at the Cannes Film Festival in southern France.

Calvo gained prominence across the Spanish music scene by blending acoustic indie-pop with traditional folklore and flamenco influences before moving into film acting. The annual Cannes Film Festival, held on the French Riviera, stands among the most prestigious gatherings in the international film calendar, drawing major cinematic talent and worldwide media coverage.

Cruz, who won an Academy Award for her role in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, has maintained an extensive career across both European cinema and major Hollywood productions, frequently collaborating with artists from Spain.

Previous magazine shoot for Vogue

The V Magazine feature follows another high-profile fashion spread for the actress. In August, Cruz posed in a towel for Vogue, where she was also photographed in garments from a new collection by Chanel.

Vogue, published by Conde Nast, is one of the world's most influential fashion publications, recognized for setting global style trends and featuring prominent international cultural figures.

The back-to-back appearances with Chanel showcase Cruz's continued work with the historic luxury label, combining high-fashion editorial modeling with her ongoing screen career.
