Speculation surrounding the couple has intensified following details of Isi's arrest in France, where he was detained after attempting to board a flight with a shipment of cocaine concealed in his stomach.
Mosquera has publicly defended her Nigerian husband through official statements and television interviews, explaining that he acted as a drug mule in an attempt to settle a relative's debt with a criminal mafia.
Despite her public stance that Isi was coerced and acted out of altruism, doubts have emerged regarding the stability of their relationship after more than a decade together.
Reporting by the Mediaset entertainment program Fiesta on Spanish network Telecinco highlighted potential cracks in the marriage, suggesting two possible scenarios regarding Mosquera's knowledge of the illegal operation.
