Matières Fécales has become a popular choice among high-profile celebrities. Stars including Zendaya, Demi Moore, Sarah Paulson and Lady Gaga have all worn designs from the avant-garde French fashion house.
Paris Fashion Week kicked off on Monday with a schedule featuring top international designers. Victoria Beckham and Saint Laurent are scheduled to unveil their Spring/Summer 2027 collections during the week, before Louis Vuitton closes the event on October 6.
Family life and Instagram update
In addition to her fashion week appearance, Rihanna gave fans a rare glimpse at her family life this week by sharing photos of the daughter she shares with her longtime partner, A$AP Rocky.
The pop star and businesswoman posted a carousel of photos and video clips on Instagram on Saturday featuring their youngest child, Rocki.
Teasing her followers in the caption, Rihanna wrote: "Who let me have a daughter, bro?"
The social media update included a clip of Rihanna placing a long black wig on the child while giggling behind the camera. Another snapshot showed Rocki wearing a wig styled with pink rollers, matching her father's recognizable fashion statement wig.
A second video clip captured a glam session with Rocki playing with Rihanna's Fenty Beauty makeup products. The post, which has attracted nearly four million likes, also featured the baby dressed in several designer outfits and even petting a snake while wearing a polka dot outfit.
Rihanna and the 37-year-old Harlem-born rapper share three children together. Alongside their daughter Rocki, the couple are parents to two young sons, four-year-old RZA and three-year-old Riot.
A$AP Rocky on fatherhood and family safety
The family updates follow recent comments from A$AP Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, who spoke in June about raising their three children following a traumatic incident at their home. Speaking to Vibe magazine, the rapper detailed the aftermath of a March 8 shooting at their Beverly Hills property.
The incident occurred while A$AP Rocky was in an Airstream trailer on the property. A suspect equipped with an AR-15-style rifle opened fire on the home, leaving the family deeply rattled.
Reflecting on the attack, A$AP Rocky said: "It was f***ed up... somebody attempted at [harming] me and my family." He added that the experience "took away a lot of peace and happiness of being able to just be free," stating: "I don't want to be robbed of my peace and joy."
Following the incident, suspect Ivanna Lisette Ortiz was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including attempted murder. She pleaded not guilty to all charges during a hearing at Los Angeles Superior Court on March 25.
Elsewhere in the Vibe interview, A$AP Rocky discussed his personal approach to fatherhood, emphasizing the importance of "being emotionally present, emotionally available, receptive, endearing, and loving."
Having grown up without immense wealth, both he and Rihanna are determined to keep their children grounded. The rapper explained that he wants to ensure their sons learn discipline and stay humble so they are not "considered nepo babies" as they grow older.
"I want to make sure that I teach my boys discipline and keep them grounded, keep them humble as much as possible," he said, adding: "I got to make sure they chill with their cousins, the rough cousins that's going keep them on their toes."
