The Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art in St Petersburg has opened an exhibition of work by American photographer, artist, film director and teacher Rob Woodcox, titled "Rob Woodcox. The Boundless Possibilities of the Body." Lenta.ru is listed as the information sponsor of the exhibition.
Residents and visitors of St Petersburg can view Woodcox's work from July 10 to November 8, 2026. His pieces bring together surrealism and magical realism with choreography and environmental themes.
The Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art said the human body in Woodcox's work is always sculptural while remaining emotionally expressive.

From photography to film
In recent years Woodcox has increasingly turned to filmmaking. His films resemble visions in which bodies float, intertwine, break apart and reassemble, forming an unusual metaphor for human relationships and vulnerability. His work transforms the human body, blurring the line between the physical and the symbolic.
