Spanish journalist Sara Carbonero has debuted a pair of burgundy leather cowboy ankle boots from her fashion label Slowlove as part of her autumn wardrobe.
The television presenter opted for a total look from the Spanish brand, moving away from the conventional pairing of western boots and denim. Carbonero instead styled the footwear with eye-catching checked trousers and a relaxed-fit jacket, blending western aesthetics with urban street fashion.
Leather Cowboy Boots and Design Details
The cowboy-inspired ankle boots feature a short shaft, a pointed toe, and decorative contrast stitching across the leather upper.
Designed for practical daily wear, the boots include a wide heel measuring 4.5 centimetres in height. The block heel offers a modest lift to the silhouette while maintaining comfort over extended periods of wear.
Slowlove selected an intense burgundy shade for the leather rather than traditional black or brown. The deep red hue functions as a versatile neutral tone that pairs easily with navy blue, denim, grey, beige, and brown garments.
The leather boots are priced at 169 euros and are available in European sizes 37 to 41. Although priced higher than standard trend footwear, the durable leather construction and timeless western cut are designed for multi-season wear.
Carbonero co-founded the Slowlove brand in 2015 alongside fellow Spanish news anchor Isabel Jiménez. Carbonero built her career as a prominent sports journalist and television presenter in Spain before expanding into fashion design and lifestyle branding.
Checked Barrel Trousers and Styling Options
To complement the boots, Carbonero selected a pair of checked barrel-cut trousers from Slowlove, priced at 59.99 euros.
The wide-leg trousers feature functional side cargo pockets, belt loops, and a checkered pattern in dark and earth tones. Carbonero balanced the voluminous silhouette by pairing the trousers with a light-coloured t-shirt and a dark outer jacket with contrasting accents.
The combination pairs checks, loose proportions, and subtle western details without creating an overly literal costume look. The burgundy boots provide the central focal point and character for the overall outfit.
The ankle boots offer versatile styling options beyond wide-leg trousers. They can also be paired with midi skirts, fluid dresses, or classic denim, serving as a colourful alternative to standard black footwear.
The footwear release follows Carbonero's previous seasonal outfit choices, including an autumn fringe skirt from Slowlove and a La Mansa hat worn during a trip to Quito, the capital of Ecuador.
