Pregnant Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt proudly showed off her baby bump on Friday as she shared highlights from her third trimester. The 35-year-old TV personality is expecting her second child with her fiancé Scott Dobinson.
Scarlett shared the update with her Instagram followers, writing: "Third trimester but apparently I’ve mistaken it for a social season, looking like a hard boiled egg ain’t gonna stop me from having a good time lol!" Her post featured photos of her cradling her bump, partying with Scott, and watching their three-year-old son Jude enjoy an ice cream.
Fans quickly reacted to the post, offering supportive comments after Scarlett joked about her appearance. Followers wrote, "Go for it Scarlett you look amazing" and "Absolutely gorgeous."
Scarlett is currently focusing on welcoming their second son, who has proved to be a welcome blessing. The couple previously spent four years trying to conceive their first child, Jude.
Future family plans
The pair are already discussing the possibility of expanding their family further. Scarlett revealed to the Daily Mail this week: "It's actually something that we keep chatting about already. Because it took us so long to have Jude and we were just so grateful that we had Jude, we honestly didn't know if a second child would ever happen for us."
She added: "But actually, it happened pretty quickly for us. So I was like maybe we could have a third child. I wouldn't say no. I always craved that big family energy and I just love it. I'd have 10 if I could!"
Reflecting on her current pregnancy journey, Scarlett noted how quickly time has passed. "I actually can't believe how quick it's gone this time around," she said. "I keep thinking though, girl math, surely the transition from none to one is harder than one to two because we already sort of know what we're doing."
Expecting another boy
Scarlett first revealed in April that she and Scott were expecting another baby, sharing that she feels she was "born to be a boy mum." She told The Mirror: "All my family and friends knew I wanted another boy. Of course it would've been wonderful to have had a girl - a healthy baby is all that matters - but my preference was a boy, to give Jude a brother. I'm just so happy for him. He's got someone to share his life with now."
The TV personality originally announced the news on Instagram with a video showing her, Scott, and Jude holding up an ultrasound photo. In the caption, she wrote: "We honestly can't believe we're writing this… After everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say… our family is growing."
She concluded the announcement by writing: "One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he's going to be a big brother. And if there's one thing we know for certain, it's that he is going to be the most amazing big brother. We are so grateful, so excited, and still a little bit in shock… Our hearts are fuller than we ever thought possible."
