Spanish television personality Terelu Campos has returned to the set of De lunes a viernes to deny claims that she sought revenge against Belén Esteban.
Campos addressed allegations made by fellow media commentator Lydia Lozano, who accused her of taking advantage of a harsh public verbal attack launched by Julia Janeiro against Esteban to settle old grievances.

Janeiro, the daughter of former bullfighter Jesulín de Ubrique and his wife María José Campanario, had recently targeted Esteban by calling her a television meme and describing her as living in the shadow of her father. Lozano claimed that Campos used the resulting fallout to avenge past criticisms Esteban had levelled at Campos' daughter, influencer Alejandra Rubio.
Appearing on the broadcast, the elder daughter of veteran broadcaster María Teresa Campos insisted that she holds no bad feelings against Esteban, who is widely known as the star of Paracuellos. Although she acknowledged that the two currently have no relationship whatsoever, Campos defended Esteban while simultaneously asserting that Janeiro has every right to express her feelings publicly.

Rights to speak and former friendships
Campos explained that her view of Esteban remains unchanged from 25 years ago. However, she argued that because Janeiro has now decided to speak out, the same measuring standard must apply to everyone appearing on television.
Addressing Lozano's revenge accusation, an annoyed Campos remarked that thieves believe everyone shares their own condition. She noted that Esteban had previously said whatever she pleased about both Campos and her daughter, but those remarks did not prompt Campos to break off their friendship at the time.

Campos recalled that after their shared television program ended, both women went their separate ways. She later discovered that Esteban no longer wished to maintain a personal relationship with her, a choice Campos said she chose to respect because anyone who does not want to remain by her side should not be forced to do so.
Following her television appearance, Campos spoke directly to reporters from news agency Europa Press. She admitted to feeling exhausted and worn out by the ongoing public dispute surrounding the two families.

Possibility of future reconciliation
Despite the tension, Campos extended a tentative olive branch toward her former co-star. Leaving the door open for potential reconciliation in the future, Campos noted that everything in life has a solution except death.

The conflict follows earlier statements from Esteban on El show de Paz, where the media personality broke her silence following Janeiro's fiery comments. Esteban remained firm against the criticism while enjoying a holiday period, maintaining pride in her long-standing television career.
