Ters, whose real name is Gonzalo Tamames, joined forces with Marlena, the duo of Ana Legazpi and Carol Moyano, for the track. The song tells the story of a winter night when the narrator meets a girl from the neighborhood who asks whether he has a lighter. That brief exchange hits him like a bullet he could not dodge, transforming his world without warning.
Production was handled by Javier Ojan, a member of the group Besmaya. The track opens with a guitar line closely associated with the Madrid duo’s sound before Tamames enters with his vocal. With its summery warmth, the song frames unexpected romance as something to be celebrated rather than questioned, free from concern for the outside world.
The artists described the emotion at the song’s core as one that turns chaos into calm and makes outside pain disappear during the moments the two spend together.
