Disney has announced that Toy Story 5 will be available on digital platforms on August 18, with the date listed on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes and other streaming services.
The film arrives online two months after its theatrical release, during which time it has grossed more than $1 billion, making it one of the highest-earning films of 2026. According to the source, the film is now approaching the all-time box office record for the franchise and needs roughly $50 million more to reach it.
Toy Story 5 follows Woody, Buzz, Jessie and their friends as they face a new and dangerous enemy: a tablet called LilyPad. The device consumes all the time of their new owner, Bunny, forcing the toys to find a way to win back the girl’s attention.
