South Korean zombie horror film Train to Busan will return to Russian cinemas on November 19, film distribution company Kino.Art.Pro announced. The national theatrical release celebrates the tenth anniversary of the movie, which first debuted in 2016.

Zombie outbreak on a train
The thriller centers on a father who agrees to take his daughter to visit her mother in another city to celebrate her birthday. Shortly after the pair board the high-speed train, a widespread zombie epidemic erupts across South Korea, forcing the remaining passengers to fight for their lives aboard the infected carriages.
Gong Yoo, who starred in the hit drama Squid Game, leads the ensemble cast alongside Ma Dong-seok, known for The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil, and Jung Yu-mi of Wonderland. The movie was directed by Yeon Sang-ho, the creator of the horror film The Colony.
Director Yeon Sang-ho established himself as a prominent figure in South Korean cinema through his work in animated and live-action horror productions. Train to Busan achieved major success upon its original international release in 2016, helping elevate South Korean genre filmmaking to a global audience.
