Reality TV star and Bachelor Nation alum Tyler Cameron announced on Saturday that he proposed to model Tate Madden after two years of dating. The 33-year-old asked Madden, 32, to marry him during a beach proposal at Little Palm Island in the Florida Keys.

Cameron shared two photos from the engagement on social media, including one showing him on one knee while wearing an all-white ensemble. A second photo captured the couple sharing an embrace after Madden said yes.

"Better late than never they say," Cameron wrote in the caption underneath his Instagram post.
Congratulations From Friends and Family
The post sparked a wave of warm congratulations from Cameron's fellow Bachelor alumni. Colton Underwood wrote, "Congrats you two. Sending so much love."

JoJo Fletcher added, "Ahh congrats!! ❤️❤️❤️ Love u guys." Justin Glaze wrote, "Alright alright alrightttttt congrats y’all!!," while Cameron's brother Ryan Cameron quipped, "He did it, people."

Relationship Timeline and Privacy
Cameron first revealed he had a girlfriend in July 2024. He kept Madden's identity private until October 2024, when the pair officially announced their relationship on Instagram.

In 2024, Madden reflected on how they met during an appearance on the Trading Secrets podcast, noting they connected through a mutual friend. "Tyler and I actually met a couple times before he remembered meeting me," Madden said. "I thought Tyler and I were actually good friends. Turns out he didn’t know who I was."

Cameron also explained why he kept their relationship private during an E! News interview in 2024. "I’ve been in this scene before for a long time," Cameron said. "People like to nitpick and like to judge and all that. And I’ve dealt with it, but not everyone else has and that can be a lot. And so I just wanted to make sure we were in a great place before we started that."

Future Plans and Dating History
In 2025, Cameron praised Madden during an interview with Us Weekly. "I think she is everything that I’ve ever wanted in somebody," Cameron said. "She is also my best friend on top of that. I think that’s all a good recipe right there."
Cameron originally shot to fame on Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette in 2019. Shortly after the show ended, he was linked to supermodel Gigi Hadid in early August 2019, though the pair broke up in October 2019.
Following his split from Hadid, Cameron dated Camila Kendra from January 2021 to August 2021. He was later linked to model Paige Lorenze for about a month in the summer of 2022.
