Yevhen Karas, commander of the 413th separate battalion of unmanned systems "Raid" in Ukraine's armed forces, has married Kateryna Shvedenko, an actress with the Cult theater.
The religious wedding ceremony took place on July 31, 2026. Dmytro Korchynskyi, leader of the political party Bratstvo, shared the news on Facebook.
Korchynskyi said he attended the wedding of Karas and Shvedenko, whom he described as one of the leading actresses of the Cult theater. He said there was a short celebration afterward, and that the newlyweds left that evening on a honeymoon trip to the front. He said everything went well, and he posted several photos from the ceremony.
Although the couple does not hide their relationship, few details of their private life are known. They have been together for more than two years and mark July 10 as the anniversary of when they got together. The pair have also officially registered their union, with rings visible on both of them in the published photos.
On social media, Shvedenko describes herself not only as an actress but also as "Farion for the young" and "Korchynskyi's daughter."
