Uzbek actor, director and educator Abdumannon Ubaydullaev has died at the age of 86. The Union of Cinematographers of Uzbekistan announced his death in a post on its Telegram channel, describing him as a candidate of art history, professor, well-known film actor, director and educator.
Film roles and teaching career
Ubaydullaev played one of the main roles in the 2006 film Vatan, directed by Uzbek director Zulfikar Musakov. He also acted in at least seven other films and several television series.
After completing his acting career, Ubaydullaev taught in the department of sound directing and cameramanship at the Uzbek State Institute of Arts and Culture.
