Victoria Beckham, 52, and her husband David Beckham, 51, spent the weekend relaxing in Portofino, Italy, as their annual European family holiday continued in lavish style aboard their private yacht. Victoria wore a nude bikini while topping up her tan on deck, before the couple headed to shore for a waterfront family lunch with their children Harper, 15, Cruz, 21, and Cruz's girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 30.
The trip also featured a romantic date night for the couple on Saturday evening at a luxury Portofino hotel, returning to the venue 29 years after they first visited in 1997 before their relationship became public knowledge. Three of their four children joined them on the Italian getaway, with their eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, 27, notably absent.
While relaxing on their £16million yacht, named Seven, before heading to lunch, Victoria sunbathed on the top deck in a skimpy nude bikini while listening to music. David displayed his tattooed physique and muscles in yellow swim shorts while taking an outdoor shower on deck, having earlier worn a white baseball cap.
The family group later boarded a tender boat to travel from the yacht to the Portofino shoreline for a meal together. David helped Victoria and Jackie safely onto the vessel as they waited on the water. People enjoying their own lunches along the harbor were eager to capture photographs of Victoria as she passed by.
Portofino Waterfront Lunch and Outfits
During the waterfront meal, Victoria enjoyed an Aperol Spritz and shared white wine with the group while sharing sweet moments with David at the table. Harper stayed cool in the summer heat with a handheld fan, wearing a white summer dress and carrying a designer Miu Miu bag.
After lunch, Victoria changed into a white slip dress featuring a daringly low back and sheer lace detailing, accessorized with a large beige sunhat. She enlisted Jackie to take photographs of her posing around the town, while David was also put on picture duty. Victoria was also seen snapping photos of Cruz during the outing.
Jackie walked through the streets of Portofino in a nude mini dress and strappy high heels, while Cruz wore a sporty blue matching co-ord set. David coordinated with his wife by wearing an all-yellow outfit following their meal.
On Saturday night, David and Victoria stepped out for a date night away from the family. Victoria wore a sheer black lace gown with a plunging neckline that revealed her lingerie underneath. She cosied up to David for photographs during their evening out.
David marked the occasion by sharing a photograph of the couple at the hotel on social media. "29 years ago we came to portofino to this hotel before anyone knew we were dating and here we are back again @victoriabeckham Portofino 97," he wrote in the caption.
Origins of a Pop Culture Romance
David and Victoria first met in 1997 after a charity football match, following David's request for an introduction. The former Manchester United and England midfielder had previously seen Victoria wearing a black leather catsuit in the Spice Girls music video for "Say You'll Be There".
Recalling the moment he saw her onscreen, David told The Sun about a conversation he had with a friend at the time: "That's the girl for me and I'm going to get her!" He added: "She's my idea of perfection. I knew that if she wanted me, we would be together forever."
Victoria, who was known to millions of pop fans as Posh Spice during her time with the Spice Girls, later admitted that nobody had wanted to date her before she was introduced to David.
Writing for Vogue in 2016, Victoria reflected on their initial meeting: "Love at first sight does exist. It will happen to you in the Manchester United players' lounge - although you will get a little drunk, so exact details are hazy."
Just over a year after meeting, in January 1998, the couple announced their engagement after weeks of speculation. They married in a spectacular ceremony costing a reported £800,000, wearing bold ensembles that were featured on the cover of OK! magazine.

The Beckhams have spent the summer traveling aboard their £16million yacht, making stops at several locations along the French Riviera and Italian Riviera. The day before their date night, David and Victoria spent quality time in Portofino with their youngest child, Harper.
During that day out, the parents wrapped their arms around Harper to pose for selfies using a digital camera held by David. The trio also sat down for ice cream at a local spot, taking turns photographing one another at the table.
Middle son Romeo, 23, and his girlfriend Kim Turnbull, 25, also made an appearance on the trip, stopping by the table while taking a stroll through the local area.
