Spanish influencer Violeta Mangriñán has debuted a black and white H&M Studio ensemble featuring statement ruffled white trousers that she compared to traditional fallera bloomers.

The Valencian personality shared photos of the eye-catching outfit on her social media channels, drawing attention to the loose, voluminous trousers finished with large ruffled details and tied bows.

Writing alongside the images, Mangriñán addressed potential comparisons before her followers could make them, joking on her social media accounts that the trousers looked like traditional fallera bloomers. She explained that while they resembled fallera bloomers, that was precisely why she liked them even more, adding that she dresses in what pleases her rather than to please anyone else.

Statement H&M Studio trousers

The focal point of the outfit is a pair of white trousers from H&M Studio, the Swedish fashion brand's high-end seasonal line. The design features a bold, fluid silhouette with marked volume, anchored by a waistband adorned with a large perforated fabric ruffle and a drawstring tie.

At the ankles, the trousers narrow before terminating in additional embroidered ruffles and decorative bows. The intricate detailing sets the piece apart from standard summer linen trousers, fluid pants, or palazzo designs, creating a more daring aesthetic. Despite the heavy embellishment, the crisp white colour ensures the garment remains versatile and easy to style.

Combining designer and high-street pieces

To balance the volume and romantic feel of the trousers, Mangriñán paired them with a simple black t-shirt, also from H&M. The top is part of the high-street retailer's capsule collaboration with Brazilian fashion designer Livia Nunes.

Priced at 29.99 euros, the black top is crafted from extra-soft pima cotton and features a classic round neck, short batwing sleeves, and ruched side seams that create a subtle draped effect. Pima cotton is widely recognised as a premium long-staple cotton known for durability and smoothness.

Mangriñán elevated the high-street look with luxury accessories, adhering strictly to the monochromatic palette. She completed the outfit with Saint Laurent sunglasses, a black Chanel handbag, and footwear from French luxury house Alaïa.

Traditional Valencian inspiration and autumn styling

The influencer's comparison references pololos, the traditional ruffled bloomers worn under elaborate skirts during Las Fallas, the historic annual festival held in her hometown of Valencia. Falleras wear heavy, embroidered dresses, with pololos serving as an iconic historical component of the traditional regional costume.

Beyond the striking appearance of the trousers, the combination offers a practical styling formula for late summer and early autumn. While vivid colours often dominate August wardrobes, pairing white trousers with black staples provides a seamless transition into the cooler weeks ahead.
