In addition to being one of the great names in Brazilian music, Rita Lee was quite successful as a writer, and published children’s books, short stories and biographies. This Tuesday morning, the 7th, the artist announced a new autobiography, entitled Rita Lee: Another Autobiography.

“When I decided to write Rita Lee: an autobiography (2016), the book marked, in a way, a farewell to the persona ritalee, that of the stages, since I had retired from the shows,” said the legendary singer. “I thought that nothing more worthy of note could happen in my silly little life. But it’s that old story: while we’re making plans and thinking we know something, God gives a sarcastic chuckle.”

Rita Lee: an autobiography told several aspects of the artist’s life, over the years. The new book, on the other hand, shows how her last three years have been, and will address issues such as the Covid-19 and cancer diagnosis. Read the synopsis below:
