Created by Kyle Bradstreet, the series Secret invasion will explain how Skrulls they have infiltrated all political spheres of the Earth. Like Brian Michael Bendis’ comics, the show will focus on these shapeshifting aliens who are trying to take over our world. Introduced in Captain Marvelthese warlike aliens then briefly returned to Spider-Man: Far From Home, VandaVision AND Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
The Kyle Bradstreet show will bring back some familiar faces. Cobie Smulders will once again reprise the role of Maria CollinaBen Mendelsohn will return as the friendly Skrull Talos, Don Cheadle will appear in the costume of Jim Rhodes aka War MachineMartin Freeman will be back Everett K. Ross and finally, Samuel L. Jackson will make his return Nick Fury !
They will especially join them Olivia Colman and Emilia Clarke who complete the cast. Except that in this series where shapeshifters try to take over the planet, we’ll have to be wary of everyone.
A very serious trailer
Samuel L. Jackson hasn’t returned as Nick Fury since Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019. We learned specifically in the Jon Watts film that the character it was somewhere in space, and that Talos had taken his place on planet Earth. According to the latest news, things have not changed. The show promises to be a political narrativecharacterized by a war between Skrulls and humans, where Nick Fury appears to be the last bastion against a great substitute. You will be able to count (or not) on the support of some famous characters, such as Abigail Brand, played here by Emilia Clarke …
The series to straighten the MCU?
Phase 5 of the MCU gets off to a bad start. Indeed, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantummania, released on February 15, disappoints, both critically and financially.
