Films based on Stephanie Meyer’s books will be produced by Lionsgate Television, the same studio behind the film adaptations.
Based on the novel of the same name by Stephanie Meyerthe saga Twilight f will win a new adaptation as a TV series. As pointed out by The Hollywood Reporterthe series will be produced by Lionsgate Television, the studio that also adapted the books for the big screen.
Wyck Godfreyproducer of the films, and Erik Feigformer president of Lionsgate, would be the executive producers of the series, who would have the direct involvement of meyers. There is still no information about the showrunner, streaming platform, television station, cast or the narrative line of the series.
The sagaTwilight spanned five films, starting with 2008’s Twilight and concluding in 2012 with Breaking Dawn Part 2, grossing over $3.3 billion at the box office. The films follow the relationship of Bella with the vampire edward and the werewolf Jacob.
