Want to shop in Hampton? The six most famous real estate names

The much sought after Hamptons have become even more in demand over the past couple of years as shoppers prioritize space, privacy and comfort during a pandemic. Douglas Eliman said inventories fell 41.5 percent year-on-year in the first quarter, while average prices rose nearly 25 percent.

“Over the past two years, I’ve seen unprecedented activity from shoppers looking for their unique East End lifestyle,” says Susan Brightenbach of Corcoran. “With the dramatic out of stock, 2022 is going to be really exciting because one thing hasn’t changed: everyone wants a home in Hampton.”

Compass’ Coleman sold $225 million worth of Hamptons real estate in 2021, including Dick Cavet’s historic Tick Hall for $23.6 million, making it Montauk’s most expensive sale last year.

In 2014, brothers Kodi and Zach Wichinski conquered the market after founding their company Bespoke Real Estate. Last year they had the biggest sales in Hampton ($145 million in Southampton) and now have twice as many maritime assets of $175 million.
