Leiva returns to Argentina with her new tour: “When you bite your lip”

Leiva returns to Argentina. And he will do it with “When You Bite Your Lip”, his new tour. It will be on December 3 at the Teatro Gran Rex in Buenos Aires. Oh, and tickets are on sale now.

The last time the Spanish singer was in the country was in 2019, with his concert at Museum Live, where he presented the “Nuclear Tour”. Three years and an album later, finally will be able to find its Argentinian public, and he will do it in one of the most special places for the Madrid musician: the Gran Rex Theater in Buenos Aires.

And the announcement comes with more good news, since Leiva will have the Argentineans AINDA as guest band both for this event and for all the dates of the tour.

The show of course goes hand in hand with “When You Bite Your Labio”, his latest album, which contains 14 new compositions in which as many Latin American artists participate. Songs in which Leiva talks about emotional sutures, cracks and crannies through which cracks of light weave, tightrope sensations, themes
captivating which, in themselves, captivate and seduce, but which gain in depth, sensitivity and beauty.

And he does all this with the participation of a series of singers whom he has been following for some time and for whom he has written each of the ad hoc songs.

It is, according to its definition, a work with low heat, forged by the composition in
the multiple and long stays in Latin American territory, inspired practically at the foot of the sky, between transatlantic routes, flight hours and airport, while he drew on the creative magma of a selection of contemporary muses from Colombia, Mexico, from Guatemala, Argentina and Spain.

Ely Guerra, Tulsa, Zahara, Zoe Gotusso, Silvana Estrada, Natalia Lacunza, Nina de Juan de Madrid, Ximena Sariñana, Natalia Lafourcade, Fer Casillas, Gaby Moreno Elsa and Elmar, Catalina García and Daniela Spalla are the women with whom Leiva gives a step forward in his huge career.

The 14 music videos that accompany the album are also set in locations that range from the introspection of an apartment to the iconic cityscape or the
bucolic natural setting, and were directed by emerging and acclaimed next generation directors Cris Gris, Eloi Colom and Claudia Barral, recorded in locations as diverse as Mexico City, Monterrey, Madrid and San Juan de Argentina.
