Less than a month after the theatrical release of The Flashthe film director, Andy Muschiettibrought out an incredible and unexpected cameo for the film.
In an interview on the occasion of the film’s promotional tour, Muschietti announced that, in addition to the two Batman Of Ben Affleck And Michael Keatonthe two Flashboth played by Ezra MillerAnd Supergirlwill also appear in the film Superman Of Nicolas Cage.
So, after 25 years Superman: Lifethe movie of Tim Barton dedicated to the never-before-made Man of Steel, fans will finally see Cage as the ultimate superhero. Last year, on the occasion of a promotional tour no The Talent of Mr. C, Nicolas Cage said there might be a chance to see him play Superman. Now we can say that the actor is indeed referring to his cameo in The Flash.
Interviewed by EsquireAndy Muschietti says:
“Nic is really amazing. Even though his part was only tied to a cameo he literally threw himself into it. My whole life I dreamed of working with him. And I hope I can do it again soon! He’s a huge Superman fan and a true comics fanatic.”
The world of the movie will collide when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time and change the events of the past. But when trying to save his family without accidentally altering the future, Barry is trapped in a reality where General Zod is back, threatening destruction, and there’s no Super Hero to turn to. Barry’s only hope is to bring a decidedly weird Batman out of retirement to rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian…. even though he is no longer what he is looking for. In the end, to save the world he lives in and return to the future he knows, Barry’s only hope is to “run for his life.” But will this ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?
