Finn Wolfhard Addressed Speculation Of Will’s Romantic Feelings For Mike

the sexuality of Will (Noah Schnapp) in Stranger Things (2016) has always been a matter of debate among the public, who have created several theories that the character is gay. In an interview with Digital Spy, Finn Wolfhard commented on rumors that Will would be in love with Mike, his character in the series.

When asked whether the feelings of Will per Mike are “shifting to a more endearing, more sincere and romantic affection,” Wolfhard replied: “Yes. I think you discover slowly over the course of the season, the kind of love that Will per Mike and it is a very beautiful thing.”

Despite the actor’s speech, this statement is not necessarily a confirmation of the sexuality of Will, since platonic love between friends also exists. But Wolfhard added, saying that “there’s probably a mutual understanding and acceptance” on Mike’s side of the friendship.

According to Digital Spythis “acceptance” of Mike it can mean that Will have romantic feelings for her friend in season four, even though it hasn’t happened in the episodes released so far.
