Consumables : an update on the saga
In 2010, Sylvester Stallone had the good idea to reunite many great movie characters action Hollywood of the 80s and 90s. Writes and directs Consumables: special unit and conjures up a Dantesque cast with, in bulk, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger or even Terry Crews. The film received mixed reviews but grossed $274 million of worldwide box office receipts (for an estimated budget of 80 million).
What drives Lionsgate to produce sequels. Consumables 2: special unit, directed by Simon West was released in 2012, whileExpandable 3 by Patrick Hughes was born in 2014. The opportunity for the franchise to add some big names such as Jean-Claude Van Damme, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes or Chuck Norris. In all, the trilogy earns more than 804 million dollars of global revenue. A score sufficient to produce a fourth film.

Directed by Scott Waugh (You need speed), Consumables is expected the next October 11 at the cinema. A fourth chapter that will further expand the cast of the franchise as new faces such as 50 cent, Megan Fox, Andy Garcia, Tony Jaa and Iko Uwais (the star of The raid) join the adventure.

As the release date for this fourth installment is fast approaching, headliner Jason Statham shared some new shots filmed on his Instagram account. We can find the British comedian in the company of Tony Jaa, a particularly well-known Thai star the saga Ong Bak.
Expandable 4 will be played by Barney Ross (always camped by Sylvester Stallone) who will try, with his team, to eliminate an arms dealer who tries to start the Third World War. If new faces join the adventure, some tenors from the previous parts are not re-enlisted. There will be no Terry Crews, Jet Li, Bruce Willis or Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, Randy Couture and Dolph Lundgren will be present.
