Bullet lostthe third work in production
This isn’t a surprise, but it’s still great news! After two first films that were successful in France and abroad, and with a story that remained unresolved, Lino and Julia could not stop there: the film Lost ball 3 it’s spinning!
After Bullet lost in 2020 and Lost ball 2 in 2022, director Guillaume Pierret and his cast are back at work to, perhaps, bring forward a conclusion to Lino’s storya brilliant mechanic who becomes super-cop of the anti-drug squad and vigilante on the streets of the South. Perhaps because the success of this action saga could also lead Netflix to extend the adventure beyond a trilogy… But we’re not there yet. at this point, and for the moment Netflix is working on the third part.
Filming throughout France
As reported by Le Parisien, it is the December 11, 2023 that the filming of Lost ball 3 it began in Paris and the Paris region. A shoot that promises to be long and in multiple locations. Guillaume Pierret said:
We film almost everywhere, in Paris, very far in the South, in the Hérault obviously, and we will go elsewhere, in larger areas that have not yet been determined.
Filming is expected to move to Sète in early 2024, where it all began for Lino (Alban Lenoir) – as for Guillaume Pierret, originally from the region – and will then continue throughout the year. A Netflix show has been announced for at the beginning of 2025.
The historic cast returns, with some new ones
Alban Lenoir and Stéfi Celma return to the cast, as well as Pascale Arbillot (Moss) and Nicolas Duvauchelle (Areski). Or those who survived the violent adventures of Lost ball 2and with whom they still have unfinished business, as the end of the second film showed, Areski’s return (Nicolas Duvauchelle). The latter, responsible for the death of Charasse and Lino’s brother Bullet lost, was absent, before returning in its final seconds. Without having further details at the moment, it seems more than likely Lost ball 3 should therefore focus on the face to face between Lino and Areski…
In the second film, Guillaume Pierret expanded the plot with a story involving the police in a larger corruption case and gave his characters an incursion into Spain. This third film is expected to further broaden its scope and invite new characters into its story.
