Former drummer of the band Dawn of Correction owned shares in Tesla, Elon Musk’s company
The payment of US$56 billion intended for Elon Musk by Tesla was recently rejected by a judge in Delaware, in the United States, due to a lawsuit filed by a heavy metal drummer.
The judge Kathleen St. J. McCormick voided Tesla’s compensation package for Musk last Tuesday, the 30th, under the argument that it was an “unfathomable amount” and that it was unfair for the company’s shareholders.
In 2018, Richard Tornettaformer drummer of the band Dawn of Correction, initiated proceedings against Tesla. He owned nine shares in the company at the time and accused Musk of “unduly influencing the negotiations surrounding the large payment package”, further alleging that “the council acted without independence”.
In response to the judge’s decision, Musk stated on Twitter: “Never incorporate your company in the state of Delaware.”

At the moment, Tornetta focuses on industrial design and describes himself as “a marketer, inventor, custom fabricator, car lover, family man, and drummer.”
